Team captains, family teams and individual walkers are invited to the 2012 Hilo March for Babies Kickoff at the Farmers Insurance office at the Prince Kuhio Mall from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday to mark the start of the March for Babies fundraising season.
Raising money for Hilo babies is more important than ever, and past and new participants gather to discuss how to best energize the community and engage more people than ever before.
March for Babies is the March of Dimes’ largest fundraiser, with 500 walkers bringing in more than $30,000 in Hilo last year.
The actual day of the walk will be Saturday, March 31, at Wailoa State Park beginning at 7:30 a.m.
